Andrew Andreyev and Louise Craven each attained Accredited Specialist status with the Law Society of NSW in Business Law in 2023.
Specialist Accreditation is a structured peer-to-peer assessment process enabling legal practitioners to be recognised for their expertise. Each year the Law Society runs the accreditation program for a select number of areas of law. The program consists of meticulous assessments on both legal knowledge and its application in practice. For accreditation to be conferred the candidate must pass all assessments.
To retain their accreditation, specialists must demonstrate their commitment to their accreditation through their work and by undertaking additional professional development in their area of accreditation.
Specialist Accreditation Chair, Richard Harvey, said:
“Specialist Accreditation is held by less than 6% of the profession here in New South Wales. We are proud that Specialists Accreditation is such a rigorous process and getting accredited is just the start. When a specialist retains their accreditation year on year their clients know the value of the advice they receive.”
Both Louise and Andrew are proud to have attained Specialist Accreditation. Specialist Accreditation is an objective, recognised mark of expertise for the public and the profession.
